Spent St. Patrick’s Day (coincidentally, really) with Adrienne at Bar Reyna in the heart of Yorkville. What intrigued me about this restaurant was their beautiful indoor patio and their chargrilled octopus dish.
Started off with Mushroom on Toast.
Next shared Mini Empanadas, soft and a teensy bit spicy.
One of our favourites of the night Lamb Shank Baklava!!
And lastly the famous Chargrilled Octopus with romesco sauce and fried shishito peppers & capers. The texture of the octopus was very meaty and not as rubbery or bouncy like the ones at other restaurants (ex. Bar Isabel), so we both preferred it more.
Would love to come back to try their other fries, there’s Greek, Arabic, French and Italian styles!
